SeedBlink appoints Ronald Rapberger as DACH Regional Manager

expands Nominee model in Europe

  • Ronald Rapberger brings to the table his experience in venture capital, investment banking, and the BioTech industry.
  • Continued expansion in the DACH region with notable growth in investment and portfolio
  • The co-investment platform accelerates its expansion in Europe in 2024, after €330M+ total mobilised amount for European tech startups

VIENNA, Austria – January 11th– SeedBlink, the European investment and equity management platform specializing in tech startups, is excited to announce the strategic appointment of Ronald Rapberger as the new Regional Manager for the DACH area (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

With a track record in venture capital, investment banking, and the BioTech industry, Ronald's appointment aligns with SeedBlink's growth strategy and its successful mobilization of over €330 million for European tech startups since 2020.

Ronald’s role includes spearheading financing rounds for tech startups and promoting SeedBlink’s Nimity, a solution for equity and employee incentive plan management. This move is timely, given the recent regulatory changes in Germany and Austria, like Future Financing Act and FlexCo companies, that positively impact the startup ecosystem, allowing for easier equity ownership.

"I am excited to contribute to SeedBlink’s mission. I look forward to leveraging my experience and driving investment in some of the most promising tech startups in Europe. There's a significant opportunity to bolster investment in the DACH region’s promising tech startups, aiming to co-invest more than €5.5M in 2024” said Ronald Rapberger.

Austrian Nominee – an easy and friendly management of investments

SeedBlink's adoption of the Austrian Nominee operating model signifies a breakthrough in investment management. This framework simplifies the investment process, offering benefits like reduced documentation, faster capital infusion for startups, and direct ownership advantages for investors. For founders receiving capital infusion, this involves a shorter time-to-capital and only one line in the Cap Table.

To date, SeedBlink has contributed over €2 million to the DACH ecosystem, supporting innovative companies like MK2 Biotechnologies, BrainHero, Swisspod, Tripmakery, and SmartNanotubes. SeedBlink has established a strong presence in Europe, with a community of investors contributing over €66 million, and a diverse portfolio of 260 financed companies from more than 15 European countries.
