Investment communities | SeedBlink
For syndicate leads

Your network, running as an investment community

Bring your angels into one private space. Share pipeline, see who's actually interested before you commit, then turn the winners into a live deal with KYC, contracts and payments handled. You set the carry.

What you get

A community is the layer above your deals

Most syndicate leads run their network on a WhatsApp group and a spreadsheet. That works until the second deal. A community gives you the profile, the pipeline, the vote and the paperwork in one place.

01 / VISIBILITY

Get found by investors who want your thesis

Your community gets a public profile in the SeedBlink directory: thesis, markets, stage, ticket size, past deals, and who leads it. Thousands of investors already on the platform can browse it and ask to join.

  • Listed alongside your past deals and track record
  • Keep it private and invite-only if you'd rather not be listed
  • You approve every join request
  • Link your existing WhatsApp, Slack or Telegram channel

02 / PIPELINE & APPETITE

Test appetite before you commit a euro

Drop a pitch deck into your community pipeline and let members vote and comment. You see the interest curve and read what your smartest members actually think. The healthtech operator flags the reimbursement risk, the CTO who knows the stack tells you what the demo is hiding. Only then do you turn it into a deal.

  • Share a deck, collect thumbs up / down per member
  • Read written comments and due-diligence notes in-thread
  • Promote a pipeline startup into a live deal in one click
  • Passed startups stay in your history, not in a lost chat thread

03 / PRIVATE DEALS

Invite the right members, not the whole list

Not every deal is for everyone. Open a round to the full community, to a segment, or to a handful of members you name. Everything stays inside the community: no forwarding decks over email, no wondering who has access to what.

  • Communities of up to 150 members
  • Invite by email, shareable link, or from the SeedBlink investor base
  • NDA and data-room access gated per deal
  • Members keep every deal they joined in one portfolio view

04 / DEAL OPERATIONS

The deal runs itself while you keep talking to founders

Set terms once. SeedBlink handles KYC/AML, NDAs, contract generation and e-signature, the bank account, and the wires. You watch one dashboard that tells you exactly who committed, who signed, and whose money has landed. The platform chases for you: members get automatic reminders to complete KYC, sign and wire before the round closes, so nothing stalls because someone forgot.

  • Automated KYC/AML onboarding for every co-investor
  • NDAs, contracts and e-signature generated from your terms
  • Live status per investor: committed → signed → paid
  • Automatic reminder emails for unfinished KYC, signatures and payments
  • Post-close updates, reporting and voting from the same hub

05 / YOUR ECONOMICS

Get paid for the work you're already doing

You source the deal, you run the diligence, you convince the founder to make room. Carry is how that effort turns into upside. Set your percentage at deal setup, where the EU norm is 5–10%, plus an optional entry fee if you want the round to cover your costs. Set it to zero when you'd rather not charge your friends.

  • Carry set per deal, paid on a successful exit
  • Optional entry fee, typically 0–1.5% of the committed amount
  • Equity, SAFE/ASA or convertible note, your choice of instrument
  • Tax-transparent, exit-ready vehicle; secondaries supported inside it

Two things a chat group can't give you

A place to talk that's attached to the deal, and a picture of who your members actually are.

MESSAGING

Discussion that stays with the deal

Every community gets its own channel, and every deal gets its own thread. Questions, founder Q&A recaps, closing reminders and post-investment updates all live next to the documents they refer to, so a member who joins in month six can read back instead of asking you.

MEMBER INSIGHT

Know what your members will actually back

Stop guessing which deals will fill. See where your members' appetite sits by sector and stage, what they typically write, who votes and who follows through, so you can size an allocation before you promise it to a founder.

From network to closed round

Four steps, and the first one takes ten minutes

You set up the community yourself. Once you submit your funding round, the platform takes over the mechanics.

STEP 01

Create your community

Name it, write your thesis, pick markets, stage and ticket size. Decide whether it's listed publicly or invite-only.

STEP 02

Bring your members in

Invite your angels by email or link, connect your existing WhatsApp or Slack channel, and approve investors who apply.

STEP 03

Share pipeline, read the room

Post decks, collect votes and comments, and see which opportunity your community will actually fund.

STEP 04

Launch the deal and close it

Set terms, carry and fees. We handle KYC, contracts, signatures and banking. You watch commitments land in real time.

What a community replaces

Nothing here is impossible without SeedBlink. It's just slower, and it doesn't scale past the people who already answer your messages.

Questions leads actually have

What's the difference between a community and a syndicate deal?

A community is the standing group: your members, your thesis, your pipeline and your discussion. A syndicate deal is a single transaction you run inside it. One community can run many deals over the years, and members keep all of them in one portfolio.

Why 150 members?

It keeps your community inside a private-placement setup rather than a public offering, which is what allows deals to move quickly without a prospectus. In practice it's also about as many people as a lead can know well enough to be useful to.

Do I have to charge carry?

No. You set carry per deal and zero is a valid answer. Plenty of leads run their first deals at 0% to build a track record. The EU norm for leads who do charge is 5–10%, plus an optional entry fee of 0–1.5%.

Can members see each other's tickets?

You control what's visible. As lead you always see the full picture: who committed, who signed, who paid. Members see the round's progress, not each other's individual amounts, unless you choose to share it.

What if a startup gets voted down?

It stays in your pipeline history with the votes and comments attached. That record is genuinely useful later: when the same founder comes back with traction, you can see exactly what your community was worried about the first time.

How long does a first deal take to go live?

Setting up the community is same-day. A first deal typically goes live within days once your identity is verified, the startup's legal status is confirmed, and you've set terms and uploaded documents.

I already run a syndicate elsewhere. Can I bring it over?

Yes. Import your member list, publish your track record on the community profile, and run your next deal here. Your existing chat channel can stay where it is. Just link it from your community page.
