October was a month defined by meaningful innovation, global visibility, and strategic progress across the SeedBlink alumni community. From AI-driven compliance and healthcare advancements to robotics, energy, fintech, and creative industries, our portfolio companies continued to demonstrate resilience and forward momentum.

Alcatraz AI

Alcatraz AI was named “Authentication Solution of the Year” at the 2025 Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards, recognizing the impact of its Rock X facial authentication platform on secure access control. The company also joined the Biometrics Institute, strengthening its commitment to responsible, privacy-first biometric innovation. Through its global deployments, Alcatraz continues shaping best practices for aligning physical and digital security.

dotLumen

dotLumen had a landmark month at GITEX Global 2025, where its AI-powered glasses for the blind won the Supernova Challenge – Digi Health Award. Thousands of visitors experienced the technology firsthand, marking a historic global recognition for the Romanian deep-tech startup.

Later in the month, dotLumen secured an €11 million grant to lead the PABLO – Autonomous Robots for Urban Delivery project. Together with academic and industry partners, the company will develop humanoid and quadruped delivery robots capable of navigating complex urban environments, a major step for European robotics and smart mobility.

DRUID AI

At its annual Symbiosis event in London, DRUID AI unveiled its most ambitious platform upgrade yet: Virtual Authoring Teams, a new generation of self-testing, self-optimizing AI agents designed to accelerate enterprise automation. The company also introduced the Agentic Marketplace and a refreshed brand identity centered around control, accuracy, and results. DRUID continues to advance its mission of making AI more transparent, powerful, and human-centric for global enterprises.

FilmChain

FilmChain co-founder Irina Albita joined the European Women’s Audiovisual Network (EWA) for a community discussion on revenue management innovation in film, TV, and gaming. The company continues to champion transparency with its real-time reporting and instant payments technology, reinforcing its role as a modern, women-led solution for rightsholders worldwide.

FlatAway

Flataway.ai launched Staycy, an AI-driven website builder tailored for property managers and short-term rental operators. The new tool simplifies digital presence creation and offers a compelling subscription-based value proposition for hosts looking to scale their operations. The launch marks FlatAway’s deeper expansion into SaaS and automation for the hospitality ecosystem.

FLOWX.AI

FLOWX.AI participated in World Summit AI in Amsterdam, one of the most influential global gatherings shaping the future of artificial intelligence. Represented by Head of Research Bogdan Răduță, the company highlighted its work at the intersection of LLM-based automation, enterprise workflow orchestration, and modernization of financial services. Through discussions on AI agents, hybrid no-code/full-code development, and real-world digital transformation, FLOWX reinforced its position as a key European player advancing practical, enterprise-grade AI adoption.

Footprints AI

Footprints AI presented its next-generation Retail Media Copilot at the Retail Media Summit Warsaw, demonstrating how agentic AI transforms first-party shopper data into actionable insights in real time. The session showcased the evolution of retail media into intelligent, insight-driven platforms, a major step forward for retailers adopting AI-powered decision support.

Irisphera

Irisphera expanded its footprint across the UAE, Turkey, Italy, Romania, and the UK, partnering with forward-thinking fashion brands such as BRANDS International, Oceanus Deep Swimwear, SO by Sana Osmani, Recent Studio, and BATTS. With new collaborations emerging from Milan to Dubai, the company reinforces its role in shaping the future of fashion through data-driven intelligence and next-generation virtual try-on technology.

LANDE

LANDE secured a €10 million guarantee from the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the InvestEU program, enabling the company to expand lending to small and medium-sized farms in Latvia and Lithuania. The facility strengthens financial access for farmers who are often underserved by traditional banking systems, supporting resilient agricultural economies. Founder & CEO Nikita Goncars emphasized the importance of rapid, reliable financing in a season marked by volatile agricultural conditions.

Ondato

Ondato introduced AML Ranger, a new AI-powered automation layer designed to streamline real-time anti-money laundering workflows. The product enhances sanctions and PEP screening, adverse media checks, and compliance monitoring, helping regulated institutions accelerate onboarding while strengthening risk controls. AML Ranger further consolidates Ondato’s position as a leading European RegTech innovator.

Sendance

Sendance was selected as one of the 20 startups supported by Luxinnovation’s Fit4Start program, standing out among more than 700 applicants. The recognition follows a strong live pitch at Luxembourg Venture Days and highlights the company’s mission to improve mobility and quality of life for people managing age, disease or accident-related challenges.

Swisspod

At the Muspell Consortium’s General Assembly in Ljubljana, Swisspod and its partners unveiled advancements in a next-generation Thermal Energy Storage System designed to convert waste heat into a powerful energy resource. The project, supported by a €3.5M EIC Pathfinder grant, has implications for both hyperloop infrastructure and broader energy-intensive industries seeking sustainable solutions.

Synaptiq

Synaptiq published a new update on its AI-driven tools for radiotherapy, highlighting how its technology improves tumor and organ-at-risk contouring efficiency for oncology teams, co-financed by the European Union. The October release underscores the company’s clinical impact and its ongoing efforts to support radiotherapy departments with faster, more accurate treatment planning.
