SeedBlink is an investment platform that allows investors to invest in assets that allow diversification of their portfolios, which can not happen if they are not part of an investment fund. Thus, many of these investors can invest their money in private companies before they are listed on the stock exchange. We have focused only on the segment of technology startups, which in turn seek funding. This was said by Angel Hadjiev, SeedBlink Manager for Bulgaria, in the show "UpDate" hosted by Elena Kirilova.

Our company's initial steps were in Bucharest, but such a platform does not exist in Central and Eastern Europe. For this reason, after the opening of the office in Bulgaria, we will expand to Greece and the Czech Republic.

"There is a lot of potential in Bulgaria from young companies, but they are having difficulty finding financing. The traditional and most commonly used method of financing in Bulgaria is debt financing, but it is tied to collateral. Here we are talking about fully equity financing of start-ups. They can offer a brilliant idea, brilliant prospects for development, but someone must believe in this idea and team, "said Hadjiev.

"Deposits that sit in the banking system are completely meaningless, they are not managed properly and do not bring any return. Inflation eats them up every second ", added the interlocutor.

Our development strategy focuses on the added value we can give to startups. Our company is global, and my colleagues work on their computers everywhere, and having a physical office doesn't matter.

All funds, with a few exceptions, are members of the Bulgarian Equity and Risk Investment Association. Through our membership and our recommendations, we help make changes that benefit the entire startup ecosystem.

Regarding what technologies are most attractive to investors, the interlocutor pointed out that the fintech technology segment is driving the industry to grow.

"Health technology is also very interesting for our investors."

The war in Ukraine is already affecting the companies we work with, some of whom have already hired incredible engineers who have relocated their jobs, Hadjiev said.
