CodeWell AI raises €380,000 in a seed round to automate the banking sector with AI digital assistants

CodeWell AI is a SaaS platform building digital assistants that help enterprises automate customer service and sales departments. The startup uses its own proprietary technology that allows them to train the digital assistants in speaking any language with a precision of over 95% and provide the conversational experience of a real human being.
We talked with Nino Karas, the co-founder and CEO of CodeWell AI and found out more about the startup and their solution.
Hi Nino, you are the co-founder and CEO of CodeWell AI today. As I understood, CodeWell AI doesn’t build just any chatbot, but a super accurate digital assistant.
Can you please tell me more about what CodeWell AI is and what you do?
CodeWell AI is a tech platform that enables the creation of digital assistants that can speak any language on a human level. The CodeWell AI assistants can be trained to answer questions and complete inquiries, provide step-by-step guidance for customers and trigger advanced actions in the background. They are available around the clock and can chat with an unlimited number of customers at the same time. This makes them the perfect solution for departments (like customer support, front desks, sales, etc.) that encounter mass customer communication. If you think about it, this is like hiring and training someone to be your best employee that can work 24/7 and can be cloned on demand.
How are you different from any similar solutions?
The main difference between CodeWell AI and our competitors is the high conversational capabilities that our assistants provide. Our proprietary AI technology allows us to create digital assistants that can speak any language with a precision of over 95%, they can speak multiple languages at the same time including multiple dialects per given language, recognize the context of the conversation, and many other things in order to provide a conversational experience of a real human being. This means that the customers will get the experience of chatting with a human employee that can help them with the entire spectrum of services the company provides.
Who is your customer and what is your business model?
As of the moment our technology is being used in multiple industries, however, the banking industry is our primary focus going forward. The CodeWell AI Digital Assistant as a Service platform, that we are currently building, will allow the banks and financial institutions to get a fully featured conversational banking assistant in just a single day. As the name suggests, the business model is the Software as a Service model, allowing the banks to get their digital employee via a monthly subscription based on a selected package that depends on the size of the knowledge base, languages and integrations that the assistant includes.
Interesting, can you give us an example of some of the benefits companies using CodeWell AI have?
Typically, we are helping companies automate up to 90% of all digital interactions with their customers. This results in substantial cost savings increased revenues and at the same time better customer experience.
Tell us about your team. How many are you and what is your expertise?
We have a team of 15 full-time employees at this moment out of which 10 software engineers are experienced in the field of Conversational AI. I’ve known my co-founder for the past 11 years, we sold our first startup to T-Mobile. Together with our team, we’ve built solutions that got featured on top media sites over the years and we’ve been recipients of many prestigious international awards for our work in the field.
You are the prize winner of How to Web 2021. How did this title help CodeWell AI?
Being part of the How To Web Spotlight 2021 competition, helped us gain knowledge from seasoned and experienced entrepreneurs and expand our network with potential clients, partners and investors. Winning the Grand Prize at How to Web Spotlight 2021 brought recognition and funds that will help us get closer to achieving our vision.
What are your plans with the finances from this round?
We'll use the funds to specialize in the banking sector (finish the development of the CodeWell AI Digital Assistant as a Service platform), as well as build a stellar sales team that will allow us to capture a bigger percentage of the global market.
Where do you see CodeWell AI in 3-5 years?
I see CodeWell AI as a provider of 8 out of 10 digital employees on the market.
