Top 10 accelerators and startup programs in Austria
Austria is home to more than 3,400 startups, and the startup community is growing at an annual rate of around 15%.

According to the Austrian Startup Monitor, accelerators and startup programs are essential players. Half of all young companies (53%) have already participated in an incubator or accelerator program, which gives them access to expert guidance, networking opportunities, and essential funding. The same report shows that 22% of the funding raised comes from accelerators.

This is why we want to introduce you to the top 10 startup accelerators in Austria that every founder should know about and provide key information to help you pick the right fit.

1. Accent

Accent is Lower Austria's high-tech incubator. It aims to create a foundation for highly innovative start-ups and provide the best possible support. In addition to initial financial support, Accent offers intensive coaching and selected impulse sessions.

2. Agro Innovation Lab

Agro Innovation Lab is an accelerator created by RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria and BayWa, aimed at driving cutting-edge solutions in the agriculture sectors. By focusing on sustainable farming and advanced technologies, the program helps entrepreneurs develop market-ready products through personalized mentorship, pilot projects, and access to a vast network of industry experts.

Beyond its core acceleration offerings, Agro Innovation Lab hosts specialized events, hackathons, and challenges to inspire new ideas and encourage collaboration among startups, researchers, and corporates.

3. AWS First Incubator

AWS First Incubator is a 12-month program designed specifically for early-stage startups. It provides comprehensive support through financial assistance, structured workshops, and personalized mentorship.

The program offers monthly personnel cost subsidies and grants for project expenses, enabling startups to focus on refining their business models and accelerating product development while navigating the early growth challenges.

4. Grow F by Female Founders

Grow F by Female Founders is a five-week investment readiness program for gender-diverse ventures. Throughout the three-month intensive cycle, participants gain access to hands-on, interactive online workshops led by VC investors and industry experts, ensuring founders are fully prepared for their fundraising journey.

In addition, Grow F offers a personalized fundraising roadmap complete with a comprehensive toolbox of checklists, templates, and other key resources. A core element of the program is the network itself: At the end of the cycle, founders pitch in person to top-tier investors and tap into the broader Female Founders community, which has over 80,000 members.

5. Impact Hub Vienna

Impact Hub Vienna, part of a global network, designs and manages tailored programs that support startups at every stage. The hub offers access to expert mentorship, skill development workshops, and a strong network of industry experts and investors, all aimed at driving social impact across sectors such as climate, mobility, equal opportunity, and healthcare.

Among its diverse portfolio of programs, Impact Hub Vienna organizes the following accelerator and startup programs:
