Casius Morea, CEO and founder of EmailTree.AI, is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the Customer Service industry. Since 1998, Casius has founded 7 companies, with 3 successful exits so far, and 4 others still thriving under his guidance.

Casius launched EmailTree.AI in 2018, an advanced end-to-end AI-powered email management platform, designed to transform enterprise communication. This solution not only automates email processing but also task execution and customer interactions, increasing workforce productivity by 70%. With a strong focus on security and operational efficiency, EmailTree.AI empowers enterprises to enhance work quality and thrive in today’s fast-paced digital landscape.

1. You have a long history of entrepreneurship, but what would you say was your first determination for taking this road?

My first "business" was at 6 years old. During the summer holidays at my grandparents, I brought an aquarium. Neighborhood kids liked it and asked to buy fish, plants, and care advice. I wanted a toy truck, so I sold as much as possible, added advice, and eventually "exited" the business by selling everything to another kid—and got the truck!

Entrepreneurship is about identifying needs, building solutions, and achieving clear goals. I enjoy the journey and the people I work with. When a team is aligned, reaching goals feels less like work and more like positive energy.

My motivation comes from my family and client feedback. When that’s positive, success follows naturally.

What inspired you to create EmailTree.AI?

In 2003, my e-commerce group needed a way to handle thousands of client emails efficiently. We imagined and built a platform to automate email management. In 2019, while using the first version internally, Orange Benelux showed interest, and Orange Luxembourg became our first enterprise customer.

How does EmailTree.AI’s intelligent email management platform work? What makes it stand out?

EmailTree.AI breaks down the email management process into small steps, integrating AI and automation to accelerate workflows while keeping humans in control.

What sets us apart is our enterprise-grade control: on-premise or cloud deployment, data security, customizable models, and "human-in-the-loop" workflows. This makes it ideal for enterprises and government agencies.

What are the main pain points that EmailTree.AI solves in enterprise email management? What measurable results reflect the impact of your solution?

We help clients reduce the time spent on repetitive email requests, allowing teams to focus on higher-value tasks. This shift improves job satisfaction and efficiency.

Our impact is validated by testimonials from clients who have automated routine tasks, enhanced team performance, and turned cost centers into profit centers. Many have even expanded their teams to generate more outcomes.

What was the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far? What lessons did you learn from overcoming it?

Building the right team. Soft skills and mindset are key, with hard skills developed over time.

One mistake was hiring a sales team too early, before our product was scalable. Timing is critical. Founder-led sales are essential until product-market fit is achieved, and a consolidation period follows before scaling the sales team.

How does EmailTree.AI stay ahead in such a competitive industry?

We listen closely to clients to offer the right product at the right time, with flexibility and speed of adoption. Our technology evolves continuously, introducing new AI and automation layers. Clients often tell us, "I didn’t know emails could be solved like this." We focus on creating value and efficiency while respecting security and internal policies.

What do you think the most important trends in AI and automation are?

Enterprises need tools that balance automation with human oversight. AI agents and flexible, enterprise-ready solutions will drive adoption, but they must fit specific environments and processes.

Trends emerge when clients validate new steps at their own pace, making these advancements more than just a passing fashion.

What are the key milestones on EmailTree.AI’s roadmap? What does the future hold for the platform?

€1M invoiced in 2024, including multi-year contracts paid upfront, high contract recurrence as validation of our value, and 3-4x YoY growth, scaling through partners.

We also see significant M&A opportunities in the AI and automation space. A strategic exit in the next 12-15 months is likely, complementing a larger platform.

For investors, why is now the best time to support EmailTree.AI?

This is our moment. The market, environment, and client satisfaction are aligning perfectly.

We are pursuing two paths:

  • M&A within 12-15 months to complement and accelerate a larger platform.
  • Seed funding to scale success and prepare for the M&A process.

Every euro invested accelerates R&D, enhances our differentiators, and strengthens our ability to secure long-term commitments from clients.

As we celebrate six years, it feels like a new beginning, with significant opportunities ahead for growth and a successful exit.
