Series B Funding

Series B is a subsequent financing round (after Series A) for a company that has reached specific milestones beyond the primary stages and wants to grow to meet all levels of demand. It's about taking a business to the next level, past the development stage.

Series A and Series B funding are similar for key players; the difference in Series B is the addition of VCs specialized in later-stage investing. Most companies that get this type of funding have a valuation between $30 million and $60 million.
