How long have you been investing in startups and how many companies do you have in your portfolio?

I have been investing continuously since 2020. Through SeedBlink, I have invested in 4 startups; in one of them even twice.

What motivates you to invest in startups?

The desire to multiply my investments but also to support the entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey, when they have solid dreams and plans.

How would you describe your investor profile?

My areas of interest are FinTech, Enterprise SaaS and EdTech.

What do you look for when evaluating a startup - what are the most important aspects for you?

I look firstly at the industry vertical the company is in, the market potential, the monetization model, and, of course, the founding team and the expertise & entrepreneurial experience they bring to the table so that I can assess their execution capacity. Very important are also the milestones they have already reached, whether the startup has an MVP or if it already has revenue.

Do you think it's important to have a diversified investment portfolio?

Very important. Investing in startups comes with a lot of unknowns and a lot of risks. Diversification reduces the risk but is also a way to get involved and support more projects.

Do you have any advice for a startup investor at the beginning of their journey?

To invest only the money they can afford to lose😊.
