Termination

The term "termination" of the contract is generally used, but we could also use terms such as rescission, revocation, distancing from the contract, or withdrawing.

Whichever term is used is a matter of taste. Still, all of these terms mean the same: the main consequence of the termination of the contract is that neither party will have any further obligations to perform in the future.
