We welcome Serbian AgriTech Agremo, Romanian DRUID and Greek Protio & Pop Market to our cohort of Portfolio companies!

Each month, we provide you with a summary of new milestones achieved by companies funded through SeedBlink, giving you a glimpse into their activities and enthusiasm.

  • Brio is participating in the pilot project for standardised student tests in Romania, with the goal of measuring educational performance. The first to be tested in the pilot project are students in grades 3, 5 and 6 in mathematics. The standardised tests will take place during school hours and run from May 30 to June 8 for elementary and secondary school students and from May 30 to June 10 for high school students.
  • Cyscale, software developer of data protection solutions and applications in the cloud, has obtained a €3million in SEED funding. The startup will use the investment to grow the team, and the products and to develop internationally, especially in the UK market.
  • Dronamics wins EU light cargo UAV certification. Dronamics is the first cargo drone company to secure the licence granted by the Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TM - CAD), the country’s Civil Aviation Authority. The licence allows us to self-authorise flight operations of our Black Swan aircraft across EU countries, including Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) operations.
  • DRUID and BARQ Systems, a leading regional IT services provider serving business and government clients across the Middle East, and Africa (MEA), have entered into a partnership designed to accelerate digital transformation and RPA implementations in the region. The mix between the two companies’ team experience, strengths, and portfolios will provide quantifiable value added for companies operating in the public sector, enterprise, finance, insurance, health industry, and services.
  • Hyperhuman harnesses the explosion of Online Fitness and nabs EUR 550.000 for further international expansion . The next step for Hyperhuman would be an API that will allow creators to publish their interactive content instantly in their own app or other digital products – something that previously required significant organizational effort and tech skills. Once created, the content can be published or delivered anywhere. Mr Predusca promises that the API will be available as soon as within one month.
  • Income surpasses € 10 Million investments through the platform. Furthermore, Fintech integrated its Income API Live Loan on P2PMarketdata.
  • US-Romanian shopping platform Oveit launches wallet for cashless payments. Oveit Wallet is a service for festival attendants and amusement park visitors to store their money and benefits offered by organizers, and where they operate payments by scanning a QR code, reducing administrative costs for the venue or event administrator.
  • SanoPass is partnering with Visa to make health easier for cardholders. Consumers who hold a Visa card issued in Romania and register it in the SanoPass app will immediately receive 10% cash back on all transactions made through the platform via the Visa Direct service until April 30, 2023. In addition, Visa cardholders will be able to access free fitness services at SanoPass partner gyms and free consultations and examinations via telemedicine for one month after registering their card in the app.
  • Telios Care and Cluj Business Campus (CBC) announced the opening of the first hybrid clinic in Romania, housed in an office campus and available both to employees working and living in the buildings of the residential complex and to the residents of Cluj-Napoca and its surroundings. The new medical unit will be the place where patients will have access to medical services covering all 23 specialties offered by Telios Care.
  • Smarthuts registered 30% MRR growth in Q1 2022, reaching almost 20k Euro MRR. The numbers show that they have achieved solid growth, while we have also developed many new features to help our partners automate job generation processes, their monitoring and tracking.
  • Upgrade Education is going on a national tour to inform high school kids and parents about the opportunity to study at top universities abroad. Upgrade Education (formerly Upgrade Academy) mentors, graduates of Harvard, Oxford and the University of Amsterdam, are coming to Iasi (May 22), Bucharest (May 29), Cluj (May 29) and Timisoara (June 4) and will talk about what it takes to apply to top universities abroad. The event is aimed at high school students in grades 9-11 and their parents.
